Protest the Hero

It was about a year ago when I last saw my other other favorite Canucks, Protest the Hero. It's also been almost that long since I've been to Sonar. The main room looked a little different - cleaner, perhaps? - they definitely moved the one bar from the side of the room to the back corner. I think there were also more lights.
Not a very big crowd for this show (Unearth headlined) but there were plenty of people who knew all the PtH songs. I think Fortress must have come out about this time last year because I mainly listened to it while driving around the backroads of PA the week I was there last October.
I guess PtH fits into the "hard to describe" genre of rock/metal, which seems to be my favorite. They have a little hardcore, a little math metal, some annoying emo singing, etc. I was going to ask if I could come live with them if this election goes wrong, but I don't really want to live with a guy who talks about his penis that much.
