Sonar is not a particularly great venue - especially the club room, since the stage is on the long side of the room and that leaves nowhere for the non-dancers (and others who dislike being kicked and punched) to go. A girl in front of me took an elbow to the eye during the second band and didn't come back.
Wisdom in Chains is from Stroudsburg PA - like, who is even from there? Weird. They were good though.
Death Before Dishonor has a bearded guitarist with a pretty elaborate neck tattoo. Mmmm...
There were also several other big neck tattoos there and plenty of cute bearded guys who were my age or older - I love HxC!
Madball was amazing, as always - even though they only have two fat guys.
Sick of It All doesn't have any fat guys and yet have been tearing it up for 22 years - longer than half the crowd has been alive! Obviously few shows could top that Ottobar show (Aug 17 2004), but it was a good show. A nice cap to my long weekend.
