A while back I got a txt from my friend saying that Epicurean should be my new favorite band, at least in part because the singer looks like Andrew W.K. (true) and that I would like the bass player (true). Of course I would have to see Epicurean at least 4 more times in order for them to be my new favorites (5-show rule). Also the acoustics in Jaxx are terrible, so it's hard to really tell anything from this show so we'll just have to wait until next time.
Warbringer was amazing. Last time I didn't see their whole set and since they (along with Exodus) ruined Valentine's Day, I haven't listened to them much since. They played a few new songs and my favorite Beneath the Waves. Sweet. Also their guitar player has real purty hair.
Now, I admit that I'm not super-familiar with Overkill. I know a handfull of their songs and am generally aware of their overall importance in the history of east coast thrash. What I didn't realize was that Overkill is music to make-out by and give lap dances to. Hmmm. I don't have much else to say about the show - they killed it. Yep.
