2007 Wrap-Up

2007 started out OK - I saw three shows each in January and February and 6 in March (despite spending more than 18 hours standing in line at National Airport attempting to go on a work trip). But then....despite dozens of appealing shows I didn't see anything in April or June. Overall, I averaged three shows per month, which is pretty good considering that I've been working 7 days a week for most of the year and I was out of town otherwise.

Tallies:
  • Three narrowly edges 3 Inches of Blood for "Most Viewed Bands with the Number 3 in the Name" and "Most Viewed Band of 2007" (6 to 5)
  • HORSE the band makes a strong showing in the three spot - 3 totals viewings
  • Coheed is only at two for the year and one of those was of course my insane mid-week trip to NYC
Favorite show of the year: Three and Counterfeit Disaster at the Bearsville Theater

Regrets: that I missed The Watchman (D'oh!) and being too tired after getting off of an international flight to drive from Dulles to Baltimore to see Destruction

New(er) bands I will see again in 2008: Enter Shikari and Counterfeit Disaster
