My quick first impressions (better or worse than the last album? perhaps it's just different):
Track 1 The Reaping - just a short intro track - not a re-engineering of old stuff this time
Track 2 No World for Tomorrow - the first part was pretty rockin' but then I forgot I was listening to a new song....has Claudio written any new lyrics or does he just recycle them?
Track 3 The Hound of Blood and Rank - very 'traditional Coheed' sound
Track 4 Feathers - barf...there's always one that makes my physically ill at first
Track 5 The Running Free - I do like this one - it sounds like music for an ad that you can't get out of your head though- pretty typical Coheed sound
Track 6 Mother Superior - I don't think I had listened to the live version that was online previously - it's good though - it's got some of the English Panther in it which is cool
Track 7 Gravemakers and Gunslingers - yay! this one rocks!
Track 8 Justice in Murder - I like this one too - Justice in Murder sounds like it should be a CBS series
Track 9 I The Fall of the House Atlantic - short instrumental track
Track 10 II Radio Bye Bye - I liked this one. Is Radio Bye Bye like Radio Ga Ga?
Track 11 III The End Complete - rawk! there's some hot licks in this one...the riffs and drums keep building and building....oh, did I mention that I heard Chris didn't play on the album? (3 told me that it's Taylor Hawkins from the Foo Fighters, since he's from the same record label whereas Dillinger is not). Also this one is fairly long but doesn't feel as long as some of the other ones
Track 12 IV The Road and The Damned - nice solos
Track 13 V On the Brink - what is going on in the middle of this song? gracious...
Here's the Cobalt & Calcium review of the same - Brian had slightly different physical reactions apparently
