So I feel really misled by the posters for this show - I was led to believe that Danzig would be playing Misfits song. So sorry to Mr. M and Mr. Leah who thought the same thing because of me. Mrs. A was at home with an ear infection, so we missed her, but it was a good show.
Gorgeous Frankenstein is the new band featuring Doyle from the Misfits. It was kinda rockabilly, I guess. It was OK. The stripper is Doyle's wife.
Danzig just played Danzig songs, and I have to admit that I'd be hard pressed to name more than two songs of his (though I recognized quite a few). He played for a good hour and 45 minutes but I guess that wasn't enough for most people because there was a very large crowd of people yelling 'Bullshit! Bullshit!' over and over after he left the stage and I saw a few things get thrown at the poor roadies who were trying to take apart the stage. Good times.
Edited to address comment: fellow blogger Bob at the Rock N Roll Experience is apparently the sources for the Blabbermouth post. My only question - couldn't Danzig just get that guy who looked exactly like him who was doing all the moves over by the bar to fill in for him? Seriously that guy has got to have a Danzig cover act of some kind.
