Baltimore: Lovely to see my 3 boys again. Quite an eclectic ("old") crowd for the Tree. There was a guy who looked like the teacher in Rock & Roll High School going to the Ramones show; a Superfan; and some parents with kids. Pete was off dealing with his son, so the house sound guy had to mix 3. I collected Joey's broken strings for Ms. dW to use in jewelry making.
Philly: Once I broke the bonds of the DC Beltway, traffic wasn't that bad. I think the crowd was even older in Philly - though I think this is a good demographic for 3 to play to - they buy cds and t-shirts and actually appreciate musicianship. I finally met the famous Matt and Nancy. I hope they enjoyed 3's set - it was probably the best I've ever seen.

Well, I dropped the ball on the Porcupine Tree thing didn't I?
They went from Pink Floyd to Radiohead to Dream Theatre, and I wasn't so much into the Dream Theatre.
Was that show we went to at Thunderdome the first time you encountered them?
