Killswitch Engage
Hatebreed
Rams Head Live!
Baltimore

Congratulations to The Markness!!! on being the first roadcrew member featured here (well, except for a link to a photo of a certain drum tech).

One of my theater coworkers was nice enough to take my Friday night shift so I could get up to Baltimore early to see Bury Your Dead - but it was just not meant to be - there was an accident on 95 and I completely missed them. D'oh! I did get a chance to ogle them later though. Plus with Hatebreed playing, there was a multitude of neck tattooed folks in the audience and on-stage. I ran into Mark right when I walked in the door right before Hatebreed came on. I've seen them a couple times recently (though the first time was either at Coney Island High or Wetlands in college). 2003 was at 9:30 Club at their 'Stillborn Fest' (which they are doing again this year). 2004 was at Jaxx and I had to park between two dumpsters because the show was sold-out. This was no exception - the place was totally packed - this time including the balcony. It was a good set with both old and new songs. The bass player is so cute.
Oh, what? Oh yeah, so Killswitch Engage. I had never seen them before though I once did go to one of their shows to see As I Lay Dying and In Flames (though I couldn't see a damn thing since that show was sold out). I can't really say that I've heard much of their music either, though I did read a pretty hilarious interview with Adam and Howard in an old Metal Hammer while I was on jury duty the other day. So anyway, Adam wears a cape around on stage and it was pretty damn entertaining. Then they did 'Holy Diver' (my preferred ringtone!) as the encore so I have to say it was pretty awesome. Oh, and some guy wanted to talk to me because he thought I was pretty.
It was also nice to catch up with some of my favorite road crew members. Too bad Gabe wasn't on this tour too (and Chooch). Mmmm...beards.
