The headliner on this tour was Throwdown, and much like another recent show, I didn't want to watch the 3rd band so I didn't stick around for the headliner. Plus it was Sunday night and I didn't really feel like staying in that sweatbox for a band that I'm only 'meh' on.
I caught the last half of Maylene and the Sons of Disaster. There are a lot of them. They're named after the famous Ma Barker and sons gang. They're from Alabama. I thought they were really good but it was not my thing, musically speaking.
Evergreen Terrace is named after some tv show. They're from Florida. They were once interviewed by Bear vs Shark. I have a really old album of theirs that I love and I'd never seen them before so I was pretty excited about this show. I didn't know any of their new stuff, but it was enjoyable. I wasn't really prepared for the immediate crowd swell and got pushed by the bouncer since I fell into him. Sorry dude.
