You can thank me for the free publicity by finding the Coheed trading cards that came with the UK version of the magazine.

Current Metal Hammer issue
OK so not only does the current Metal Hammer feature the cover story "Coheed and Cambria is the new Led Zeppelin" (which I've been saying for years now) it also features an interesting letter:

ROCK!!! This would not be the first time that you have been recognized by the music media.
Didn't you get a free T-Shirt from MTV for writing in to hear Warrant or something similar when we had big hair?
I think your readers need to be aware of this history. You have been obsessed with music and bands for as long as I can remember.
From your closet plastered with photos from Hit Parader, Circus & Metal Edge to driving all over PA to various middle-of-nowhere towns (i.e. f'n Ludlow) to see bands in Grange buildings, basements and other odd venues....
Maybe you should create a mirror site with all of your retro-reviews & photos from back in the day OR write some sort of music-addict's tell-all book. The DSM IV did indicate that you were addicted to showgoing, remember?
It is true that in 7th grade I requested a block of Skid Row videos by mailing in a postcard to MTV. I still have the t-shirt they sent me when they picked my postcard. Youth Gone Wild, yeah!
Even though I listened to a lot of hair metal crap, I still think Guns 'n' Roses, Skid Row, and a few other of those bands hold up over time. And I always liked Iron Maiden - I wish I still had that shirt, though I guess I could buy a replacement from Hot Topic.
My mom used to take us to shows before I got my driver's license (first punk show ever - the Dairy Pigs at the Ridgway Moose).
And of course the only difference between Ludlow and a bucket of shit is truly the bucket...
They're special 'Metal Hammer' issued cards - the UK version of the mag was supposed to be in a mylar bag (I have an issue with Bullet for My Valentine on the cover with Matt all shiny like that). I'll probably end up ordering this issue directly.
I did find a neat thing to do with my two Claudio-covered magazines though:
