Coheed on TRL 1/19/06

I just discovered that you can watch much of MTV online, including Thursday's TRL appearance by Coheed & Cambria. (it's under spankin new rock live - you have to click past a bunch of POD songs first...) Very interesting stage management and filming on the TRL set. There are two girls in the front with Coheed shirts and the whole crowd up front is all female. There are some dudes rocking out in the center of the crowd and some really confused/pissed off looking people in the back (they get on camera few times anyway). I really wonder what the stage managers tell the crowd to do - many in the audience are pumping their fists the entire time and a couple of people appear to be making devil/metal horns (with which I do not agree...I love Coheed, but come on...metal they are not, especially not on TRL for godsakes).
