Warehouse Next Door
Hello. My name is Princess H. and I'm a show-going addict. It's been 22 days since my last show. Thank god I've fallen off the wagon again! Things had gotten so bad that I neglected to get an advanced ticket for the show I really wanted to see, so I took a myspace bulletin suggestion and went to see Australian math-rockers My Disco. Despite the fact that I'm in this neighborhood all the time, this is the first time I've been to Warehouse Next Door. Actually *ding* I'm not sure if it was the Warehouse Theater or the 'Next Door' part - it was a blackbox theater. There were probably about 25 people there who weren't in the other bands or working. New Brutalism I feel like I should know. Hmmm. My Disco weren't wholly mathy - mainly the guitar. The bass was just a driving beat and the drums fluctuated from technical to dancey. Ah.
