So now I've tied with last year's record of 53 shows (although this year I saw no outdoor shows). Continuing themes from yesterday - a very early show (4pm doors) with strange hand gestures (this time a moving 'hang loose').

I also lucked out again with timing - I arrived just minutes before From a Second Story Window took the stage. Hailing from what they call 'Ohio-vania' (I've been there...) they're one of those metallic bands that's hard to describe. Their singer is fucking insane (at one point he was hanging upside down from the balcony screaming). The bassist looks familiar. And is that Jonny Fairplay on guitar?
I'd not heard of Through the Eyes of the Dead before but since their bass player was hot, I figured I'd stick around. And I actually really enjoyed them. Next time these two need to tour with Fear Before the March of Flames and call it the 'Bands with the longest names tour' tour.
